Charlotte Nesbitt - Executive Director

Charlotte Nesbitt is Park Manor's Executive Director and is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of Park Manor.  With academic degrees that include her Bachelors and Masters along with over 40 years of facility management experience, Mrs. Nesbitt has been involved in the total management of facilities from community development and acceptance, to design, construction, and directing operations.  Mrs. Nesbitt is currently a Partner with Michael Shmerling, Inc. and most recently served as director of programs and services for XMi Social Enterprises, a division of XMi.  XMi is a diversified management company with seven divisions.  As XMi's Director of Programs and Development and with the Shmerling family, Mrs. Nesbitt researched and guided the development and creation of the non-for-profit Abe's Garden.  Abe's Garden's mission is to create an Alzheimer's and Adult Care Community where seniors with dignity can age in place.  As an independent living facility, Park Manor is the beginning of this age in place for seniors.

During her span of 40 years as a social services practitioner and facilities management administrator, Mrs. Nesbitt has attained several notable distinctions and received local, state, and national awards for her achievements, her leadership and compassion in the delivery of social services.

Vicky Raines - Director of Resident Services

Vicky Raines, Director of Resident Services, joined Park Manor in May 2002. She brings to the table over 27 years of experience in management, sales and marketing in a variety of fields. Vicky Raines has an extensive technology background, serving previously as an IT manager. 

Vicky Raines received her Assisted Living Administration Licensure Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Vicky Raines is certified as a Home For The Aged/Assisted Care Living Facility Administrator by the Board for Licensing Health Care Facilities, State of Tennessee Department of Health.
Judy Given - Director of Project Development

Judy Shmerling Given comes to Park Manor with a diverse background as a psychotherapist and business owner. Judy returned to Nashville following 17 years working as the Director of Clinical Services and expressive arts therapist in a special education school in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon returning to Nashville 10 years ago, she and her husband, Gil, have owned and operated a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream franchise. They currently have 3 scoop shops in the Nashville and Franklin areas. She has worked for the past 2 1/2 years with brother, Michael Shmerling, and his team, to develop Abe's Garden in memory of their father, Abram Shmerling.
Melissa Womack - Activities & Services Coordinator

Melissa Womack came to Park Manor in August 1995 working as a Front Desk Receptionist and later being promoted to Activities Director. She comes to Park Manor with 21 successful years in sales, marketing and management.
Reed White - Maintenance Director

Reed joined the Park Manor staff in October, 1989. Prior to this time he spent 21 years as maintenance supervisor with White's Dairy Supply in College Grove, TN, where he was responsible for the installation and service of equipment as well as the training of new service technicians. Reed also was the supervisor of maintenance and laundry at Carriage Healthcare for two years.
