Entertainment
Frequently, concerts are held in the Blakemore Room for your enjoyment. You will be treated to a wide range of music and entertainment including everything from Big Band to Classical. We also offer a wide selection of other on-site entertainment opportunities such as: Magicians, Authors, Barbershop Quartets, Choral groups, Classical musicians, and a host of other first class performers. All of this without having to leave the comforts of home! All on-site performances are free of charge, and residents are welcome to invite guests.

Trips & Outings
Trips are planned to many points of interest, such as Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, The Hermitage, the General Jackson Showboat, Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, The Parthenon, and other enjoyable places. For those who prefer shorter trips, the group often visits local restaurants, the symphony, or even the Nashville Zoo, and if you prefer traveling from the comfort of your own armchair, Park Manor offers regular travel videos in the activities center.

Wine and Cheese Party
All residents are invited to attend our Wine and Cheese parties which are held every Thursday afternoon from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A variety of aged cheeses, fine wines, and non-alcoholic beverages are offered. This is a popular activity with the residents as it offers the opportunity to socialize and gather in a congenial atmosphere before the evening meal. Residents are welcome to invite visitors to join them.

Blakemore Concert Series
Join us for one or all of the performances at the Park Manor Concert Series. We have hosted a wide variety of artists such as Amy Grant, the Nashville Ballet, Blair School of Music's Pianist Craig Neis, and many more!

Weekend Movies
Movies are shown in our Blakemore room every weekend. We feature some of your favorite classic films as well as many blockbuster hits and new releases. Residents are encouraged to make requests for movies they would like to be shown. Enjoy the show!

Headliners
The Headliners group began in 1990 and is popular among the men at Park Manor. This group meets weekly to discuss newspaper headlines of interest.

Bible Study
Each Friday Morning we host a resident-led, non-denominational Bible Study. All residents are welcome regardless of religious preferences.

Birthday Party
Each month Park Manor hosts a special dinner for the residents celebrating a birthday during that month.

Vespers
Vesper services are held twice monthly. This provides residents with the opportunity to attend a worship service and partake in our on-site communion.

Special Parties and Programs
On occasion, the staff will host special parties, picnics, and buffets. There is an annual picnic, annual Holiday Open House, as well as many other "special occasions."
